Chicago, Illinois

The STEM2Youth Chicago Chapter serves communities across Bronzeville, Pilsen, and the Near West Side, providing accessible STEM opportunities for youth through partnerships with organizations like the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago Public Schools, and local makerspaces. In a city known for innovation and architecture, the chapter helps students explore engineering, coding, and design thinking, empowering them to reimagine what’s possible in their own neighborhoods.

Chapter Founders: Roman and Team

Roman

Chapter founder | Chicago Area

I’m Roman Brice, a high school student at Lane Tech in Chicago, passionate about law, political science, and the ways STEM can drive social progress. I’m especially interested in how data, technology, and ethical innovation shape policy and justice. Through STEM2Youth, I help design programs that connect civic issues with scientific thinking, encouraging students to explore how problem-solving in STEM can empower communities and strengthen democracy.
